If I could make some observations you may find useful

1) Turnberry is nowhere near Edinburgh but is 30 minutes from Prestwick and 100 yrds from Troon so you should really play these together or in the same leg of the trip. IMHO its also the best course in Scotland.

2)Muirfield if you are playing there then Guillane or North Berwick would be an ideal pairing.

3) You should try to get up to Royal Dornoch and Nairn
