Sam - you do know they inducted Grandmaster Flash last year, don't you. I think the early rappers should be honored, just not there - Sugar Hill Gang & Schoolly D should be recognized too - first rap song and first "gansta" rapper.
Either they change it to the "Music Hall of Fame" or add divisions for Pop, R&B, Rap, Hip Hop, Disco etc. |
