What do you mean by 'straight left' with a little draw (which
curves to the left, for a righthander)? The down-the-line swing (and divot) with a closed clubface would be expected to cause a draw.
As to why you are closing your clubface, the previous posts had some great pointers. In addition, is it possible that you are not shifting your weight properly, hanging back a bit? If your body stays behind compared to your arms/shoulders, it would result in a premature closing of the clubface. You would know from a slightly awkward follow-though move, and a less than perfectly balanced finish position, with your club ending up down your back.
Good luck! It sounds like you are close. It sounds playable also: If you can count on it happening, just aim right a bit until you fix it!
