Solvent and lots lots lots of it. I do it the old fashioned way but use a catch tray so I can reuse excess solvent. Don't be afraind to just soak the grip and tape with it. I have never had a grip stick half way and always have time to position it. You want to see the solvent just dripping off and oozing out when you press the grip onto the tape.
