Re: Anyone ever try the Mizuno MP FLi Hi
I know we read a lot about hybrids being replacements for long irons, like all you need to do is put these babies in your bag and you will instantly be money from 210 out.
Without getting to much into economics and marketing, the reality is each of these clubs do different things. Depending on the course you are playing, weather, etc, you would select a hybrid, or a long iron, or in this case an MP Fli Hi.
I have hit the Fli Hi, the CLK hybrids and the MP57 3 and 4 irons. The Fli Hi were more forgiving than the regular irons and did have a higher trajectory. I also hit the Fli Hi more consistently than the hybrids, but for me I just like the look and feel of an iron in my hand. After all that, there was only 2-4 yards difference between the three and I will most likley add a 4 iron and the 18 degree Fli Hi to my bag.
I would not think the Fli Hi would be for all levels. If you can play in the MP family, then I think they could be right for you.
