Smile Just a quick Comparison

I had nothing better to do at the course today, so played a Bridgestone e7+ vs a Titleist NXT against each other on a whim.
It was around 55 degrees and only 7 people on the course.

Feel: The NXT is softer off the driver and the irons. I really liked the feel of the NXT. The e7+ was not harsh, but was harder than NXT.

Distance: The NXT won the distance test on every hole except one. However they both were within 5 yards of each other.

Chipping: This is what confused me. The e7+ seemed to have better stopping ability than the NXT. This was true on every flag.
I thought the NXT would have stopped better.

Spin: I felt the e7+ had more spin. So maybe this explains the stopping at the flag. When hit off line it did go further off line
than the NXT.

Trajectory: The e7+ would fly a little higher, but the NXT had more roll. This could be explained by the spin.

Overall: I would play either ball depending on conditions. I still have a hard time getting away from the Callaway Tour ix
or the Titleist ProV1X.

I think my next test will be between these ix and the v1x. Now to find a day when the course isn't full.
