I played decently today.

Since I'm playing in a junior tournament at St. David's Golf Club tomorrow, I practiced on the front nine and played for real on the back. I started out in bad shape from 1-5, but I got into the groove and parred 6 (a par-5), 7 (a short par-4), and 8 (VERY tricky hole. Here's the layout: Tees, 160 yards of water, then green). On that hole, I hit a crisp 6-iron shot and landed within 10 feet of the hole.

On the back, I made a couple mistakes here and there, but I got a 50 on the par-36 nine. A 50 on the back is pretty good for me since the rating is 36.5 and the slope is 135 (A 50 on the back is more like a 48 on the front).

So if I kept going and played the front nine the same as I played the back, I would have had a 98 which isn't too shabby for me.

Anyway, I should be playing great tomorrow since I worked out the kinks I had in my swing yesterday.
