My home came out of it w/no damage. I lost some shrubs in the back yard. I had friends who live near the Elizabeth river who had some water damage . You are right about the storm being long term. It seemed to linger off the coast causing a lot of abnormal high tides. Talking to various people who received water damage the water levels were above what we experienced with Hurricane Isabel in 2003.
