I played a lengthy little course a few minutes from my home town. Not a very hard course if you are a long hitter, i am not a super long hitter but i am not a short hitter so it played pretty difficult. Greens were not in great condition that is for sure.
But i played decent for the course being so long and having to get used to the greens, a 39 (4 over) which i'll take, just a new course but i didn't mind it. Some of the rough was bad too, but it was ok.
I was hitting my irons bad today which held me back a little, but i was launching my driver! I ****ed one right in between the middle of the club face and it was probably the longest drive of my life, swung hard cause i was a little mad at my 3 putt on the last hole but i was quite happy with the drive, not sure on exact yardage cause it was downhill and a bit of a cross wind/helping with you know what i mean? It ended up being my only birdie of the day on that hole cause i cosied a little 60* wedge up to about 5 feet or so and drained the straight in putt.
I got a tournament tomorrow but it is not supposed to be nice and it may be cancelled because itis supposed to pour all night and 40 km/h winds so we'll see but i feel pretty good going into the tournament about my game.
