Well we have all witnessed the *slump* Mr. Woods is in at the moment. I was reading an article in Golf Digest and there was a guy analysing his swing and he said, "He seems to be trying to make himself more mechanical like Jack Nickalus. He is trying to make it so Stevie can dial in 187 to the pin with a slight draw and then Tiger can just hit it without any thought, when really he is a feel player like Palmer playing what seems natural to him." It seems he has lost his natural feel in trying to have everything mechanical. Did you notice when Tiger made the cut at WS and made 3 birdies on the last 6 holes? He said he relaxed and let his natural instincts take over and he felt like he was doing the right thing and did everything he could to keep it. It obviously paid off. I think he should stop trying to be mechanical and be more natural. Forget trying to be Jack and let his inner Palmer take over.
