First comment to start with: get the 415cc over the 380cc version.
I just picked up the GBBII 415cc with an Aldila NV65 regular flex w/o headcover for a low eBay 1 bid only price of $150 about a month ago:) Condition is 9.5 out of 10. I'm extremely pleased with it. First off, I am a Callaway equipment user. So I do know how forgiving my X-14 irons trully are. The GBBII is no exception. But the GBBII is not the most forgiving club out there. It is the King Cobra 440SZ. But I like the feel at impact and the sound of the ball when struck by a Callaway. I don't drive that far (200-240 with average 220 when playing a round). But my drives go in the fairway or a few yards off. I play at muni courses :) I was a 20 handicapper before I got the club. Now I'm down to a 16 BUT half is due to making a better swing and half due to the club. I've shot 39 twice (par 36) now on back nine play.
My friend tried mine and he will upgrade his 380 to a 415. Also with an Aldila NV shaft, get a 10 degree versus the 9.
As for buying it retail, I saw during Labor Day Week that tgw.com (The Golf Wharehouse) was selling it for $237 delivered, no tax since they are in KS. This is even for a custom shaft!
