Yeah Pro V1s are great balls, but price and durability is definetely an issue. In addition many average golfers would benefit more from a less pricey ball like the Mojo or DT solo, just like Allen89 said
If your a good golfer playing in rounds that matter ie tornaments, outings, etc you have to use the Pro V1.
May i recomend ebay or golf shows or logo overuns to get a cheaper price
