Played Singing Hills in San Diego today. First time I have been there since the Scycuan Casino Indians bought it a few years back. What a great job they have done to that track!! The restaurant is way better in terms of menu and still pretty reasonable. Range balls upgraded with fence better at the end. Greens were excellent and the course exhibited ample watering and great grass growth. Greens held and rolled true. What a difference from the lousy conditions at Torrey Pines where I normally play. Maintenance was great with fine definition to fairways etc... So beautiful late in the day with the sun going down, a soft breeze and just a magnificent experience. I love golf in October!!! Anyway, two thumbs up on Singing Hills in San Diego for anyone interested.
