It varies greatly depending on the area and the quality of the golf course. I knew a Director of Golf/Head Professional in the Washington DC area who made about $80K but the assistant pros at the same course were only pulling down about $20K.

They made additional money when they gave lessons which ran something like $60/hour. At that particular course, they let the pro giving the lesson keep the entire fee, but elsewhere the course may take a cut of the lesson fees.
