Here are my tips for golfing in cold weather:
* NO COTTON - Cotton gets wet and icky. I like microfiber or other golf-designed vests/jackets. I have a SunMountain jacket with removable sleeves that is wonderful. Always dress in layers if possible, for when the temperature changes.
* Warm Hat that covers your ears - I use a funky black stretchy thingy that I also use for skiing and cycling.
* Hand Heater Pouches - Those little pouches that you tear open, and they heat up. I keep one in my pocket to keep my hands warm and toasty.
* Thermacare wrap for your lower back is truly magnificent in cold weather!
* Extra pair of socks - Keep an extra pair of socks in your bag in case your feet get soaked. You'd be surprised at how good it feels to put on clean, dry socks at the turn, if you've been playing in wet weather.
