Louisiana?...man it gets darned cold down there in winter...I froze on the golf course for 40 years in the cold, wet winters in Memphis, TN, before I decided to make a change...so I moved to Sarasota, Florida. Here it is, 3 days before Christmas, and it's sunny and slmost 70 degrees! Poop on cold weather....and there are more golf courses here than you can count! If you can't move here, you owe it to yourself to at least come here once for a few days when it is 10 degrees and snowy where ever you are! Palm trees, exotic birds and flowers all over the place, warm sun and some of the most beautiful, green golf courses I have ever dreamed of...it is another world in south Florida. Spend a week here, and you will know why property values went up 30% last year.
