I was talking to a club pro here in town that was in the FedEx qualifier with Kip Henley a few years back. Kip only had 13 clubs in his bag and sent a spectator on the 17th to the pro shop at Colonial here in Memphis to get a putter (any putter, according to the pro). As the story (and I stress STORY) goes, Kip put it in his bag to show his other putter that it could be replaced and went on to make birdie on 18. I cannot confirm the validity of this story, but it sure is fun to tell.
