A lot of great courses have already been suggested but I would add just one. "Tiger Eye" It's a short drive from North Mrytle Beach but absolutely worth it. Of all the courses I've played it's the one that's impressed me the most. A great layout that's a joy to see and play. Well worth it!

You should find the prices are very reasonable in May and tee times after 12:00 can get you great deals on all these courses. A great place for information can be found at www.golfholiday.com. They have been promoting golf in Mrytle Beach for years. Great Course and specials info.
