After you book your lesson, think about the grip because that's most likely where your teacher will start. You worry to much about what you don't understand. Keep the fundamentals simple and think smooth slow tempo. A good practic session may be 2 large buckets with only your wedge. Chip it, wack it, just get a good smooth feel.
