I just looked at the scores on PGATour.com and Vijay shot 1 under. Looks like he'll have a tough time gaining on Tiger in the WGR this week, unless he starts lighting it up. But he'll also have to hope that the rest of the guys DO NOT light it up the rest of the week.

There's another thread on here that says even if Vijay wins he won't pass Tiger. So, a top 10-20 finish for Vijay won't do much in terms of the WGR.
