Most of the driving ranges near San Francisco are "mats only", and a bucket of 100 balls runs $10.

There are ranges that I know of in Foster City (peninsula area), Oakland (east bay), Walnut Creek (northeast bay area), and Livermore (way out there) that offer driving ranges where you can hit off of turf at least part of the week.

Does anyone know of any others? Also, are there any ranges in the Bay Area that are a lot cheaper than $10 a bucket? I don't mind a 20 mile drive (especially if I can go play a nearby course at twilight afterwards).
