Any specific recommendations or issues with Taylor R5 .350 reshaft?? I have a 10.5 MAS2 reg, and just bought 9.5 to experiment with. I love the club, no issues negative or positive with stock shaft, hit it really great (scary how good), but always looking for improvement and need more yards, so thinking about a 46 inch reshaft since can't miss the ball with this thing. I hit fairway 90% of time (don't be impressed, we have largest fairways on the planet on Maui, especially Kapalua) 100 mph swing speed but generally love stock regulars, low ball hitter until using 3 inch tees, the big equalizer. My drives go about 240-250 at the most, need more. Thanks.

Hackerboy,

I am always looking for a reason to help, but it seems you may be doing well. I started this company on the belief, that it can be done better, so Yes changing that Stock shaft with a Shaft that fits you would be a Good test, something to "fool around with" and find a few extra yards.

Based on the information you supplied, a Good Recommendation would be our AccuFLEX Assassin II World Champ, seems to be the best all around shaft for most golfers as voted by Golf Club Review.

I would suggest a Reg. flex, tipped about 1/2" at the 46" finished length...

A clubmaker can easily re-shaft this, but will need a readily available adapter to "shim" the hosel from .350 to .335, we do this all of the time especially on Tour, with great success, the days of worrying about having to have a .350 shaft are over.

I am unsure of any "active" Hawaii dealers we have, so I would recommend lookin gat our dealer page, and finding someone on the mainland...

Let me know if you need any help, and would love to have you trying a new AccuFLEX shaft!

Have read and heard many good comments about your shafts, although I have not tried one.

What's your best 3 and 5 fairway wood shaft's for moderate tempo and driver ss of 98?

Welcome and thanks,

stagday

Jody, what's a popular choice among your line for fairway woods (C.A.S. - v3 - Juice)?

Custom Golf Sales has had alot of success with the Icon FH and VS02 in the fairway woods. The FH is the best selling shaft we have had this year in all fairways beating out the Aldila and the Irod.

Ooooh, forgot about the Icon FH, nice one there! Thanks Christian! I'll put them on my 2006 hit list for my Redline Tour FW reshafting prospects...
