Well, the Shaft deal was last december i believe.....and actually that was the first...they are just sending them out since they were getting ready for the PGA show, but yes I won in this, got to demo the driver and i am 10th so i get the hybrid.....I bought a lottery ticket but i guess it was to late.... I think its because i smoke............

Of course I've always been of the belief that you should be at least past 150 posts to do any of these....seems as though there are some with 2 - 20 that are in all the time....come in to sell and thats it. JMO

I do see your point boomer (except in my case of course ) I haven't been on GR long and I do a lot more reading than I do posting. I will post when I feel I have something to add but mostly you old-timers have it covered. I enjoy GR and plan to be around a long time and will contribute when I feel that my 2 cents is needed.

I was thinking the same thing shortly after I won the club. How do we know that someone along the line isn't going to just keep it and disappear? So I do see your point about having to have put in your time before you get the perks.

But, I'm not giving it back now!

no one is saying that was the deal and please don't be offended. I have been one the good end of them and did not enter the last one because of that fact. Spread the wealth kinda thing..ya know? Was just bringing up the thought...I do not think any one affiliated here would do that to fellow golfers, after all its an honorable game.....

To speak as another guy with next to no posts. I'm both a relative newbie to the site and a newbie to golf. I haven't been entering the demo contests because my game is so poor I'm sure my review wouldn't mean anything.

Of course I'd love to get a nice driver, hybrid, etc. but I feel the contest only happens because they want good feeback. Definitely not coming from me.

Oh well, hopefully with the lessons I already have scheduled, I can be a productive GR poster sometime soon.

Thats the beauty of GR, You don't have to be a great or good golfer to be a productive poster...you see, its the love of the game that gets us togeather.
There are topics all over GR that you can and should contribute to, life Loves, kids AND GOLF!!!! ANd yes, they want feedback, but who may see the most improvement from aclub, IF its right for you??? newer golfers, seasoned vets????who knows, the shaft may not be right for me, but right for you...All i'm saying is these guys give us an oppourtunity to try some stuff and bravo for them...I don't believe IMO that 100-150 post to sign up for the drawings is alot to ask....

Count me in the n00b club. But I enjoy reading what's posted and learning. And when someone asks about something I can answer to I always try to.

Awaiting my AccuLAUNCH 70 Reg to put in my hybrid

Your shaft shipped today via UPS standard ground so you should see it in a week or so.
