Found out a 10.5 is too much. Went from my 9 degree driver to a 10.5 that was virtually identical in all other specs. With my tee height, swing, etc., the 10.5 was suprisingly high...

I'm going to see what a 9.5 will do... I can't believe what a difference a degree of loft makes

not only do they have to be long,they have to hit the "fairway".
stiff =controll
flex =distance.
they will use the most flexable shaft that they can control enough to hit the fairway.
the more flex in the shaft the more distance ,but the less controll.
