Tiger Woods Dubai - Al Ruwaya Golf Course

Has anyone seen the Web site for Tiger Woods golf course in Dubai?

THE TIGER WOODS - DUBAI

It's a golf course community where the entry level villas (190 in total) are 20-30,000 square feet, the mansions (75 in total) are a humble 50,000 square feet and the palaces (20 in total) are 100,000 square feet if a mansion isn't enough to fill your needs.

As for the golf course itself, it plays 7,703 yards from the tips. I wonder how well Tiger did of Tiger-proofing it?

That course probably fits right in with Dubai.

When I was in college, I knew this girl who was from Dubai. She would always tell us about how great Dubai was and wanted to show us photos of it. We were kind of ignorant and figured Dubai was just a bunch of desert with nothing special. Now, I seem to read an article about Dubai every week.

I know a few people who have been to Dubai. I think it's one of those places you either love or hate but most people I've talked to like it. I definitely want to check it out. Unfortunately, from the looks of it, that Tiger Woods course looks like it's going to be pretty expensive if it's even open to the public.

I seems like a fun course. I can't wait to cut the corner of the dogleg right 4th hole, by hitting it over the palace!

Kind of like the Road Hole at St. Andrews? Just watch out. I don't know what the laws are like for property damage in Dubai but if you're breaking a palace window, it could cost a lot.

Yep. I would be a bit worried about an army of bodyguards coming after me after a driving mishap also. But there is nothing like a good 'pressure shot': Maybe that will get me in 'the zone'!
