my title right now is weekend duffer. i guess it's because i have a low post count. i wonder what title people with higher post counts get. since this is a new board, nobody even has 10 posts yet i don't think.

here are the user titles:

0 - 29 posts: weekend duffer
30 - 99 posts: golf enthusiast
100+ posts: tour pro

this may be changed in the future as the forums get larger but for now, that's how it stands. if anyone has any suggestions for user title changes or additions, feel free to let me know.

I was thinking you could do something with handicap. For beginners, weekend duffer is good but then you could do something like "can break 100" to "scratch." The problem is, a lot of people who post here would have actual handicaps that wouldn't correspond to their user title so I guess the current system works.

yeah, i was thinking of doing some kind of handicap thing but decided not to. i was hesitating on weekend duffer b/c it might be kind of embarrassing for a scratch golfer do have that title but i thought it was a good title for a new registrant.

i think having the handicap thing is a good idea but why dont you have different private groups for different handicaps so that they could have their own chat if you see what i mean

Yes, I do plan to add more forums in the future. Right now, I plan on keeping the number of forums at 4 so they can be more active. When they become "too" active, then I will create more sub forums so that threads won't move down the line so fast. Anyway, thanks for the feedback everybody!

That's a great idea! Right now, I'll set 500+ at "Golf Rewind Hall of Fame" but if people like Major Champion or Green Jacket Winner better, I'll change it.

It seems like some of us are picking up post #'s rather quickly. Here is a list that gives us all something to shoot at. Just my two cents.

251-325: Hole in One
326-400: Mini Tour Player
401-499: Nationwide Player
500-700: PGA Player
701-999: PGA Tour Winner
1000-1250: Major Champion
1251+ : PGA Hall of Fame

yea, i think you should add more titles because it would definitely be a lot more fun for us users to climb up the ladder of titles.
