Messages to me???

I knowthat in the top it tells me if there are private messages to me, but how do I know if someone has responded to me....or asking me a question in open forum?

I have found a couple of posts that appear to be to me but I can't find anything saying for sure.

Well, if you want to view all threads that have new posts in them since the last time you visited, you would click the "New Posts" button on the top menu bar. Any thread you have participated in will be listed in bold.

Also, when you post a message, there's a subscription option. You can choose the following options:

1. Do not subscribe
2. No email notification (you will be subscribed to the thread and to check it, you will have to go into your User Control Panel listed as User CP in top menu)
3. Instant email notification (when someone replies to a thread you posted, you will receive an email as soon as someone responds)
4. Daily email notification (at the end of the day, you will receive an email digest complete with all replies to threads you subscribed to for that day)
5. Weekly email notification (same as #4 except you receive an email digest once a week)

You can choose your subscription option for each individual post or you can do so for all of your posts by going into your User CP and selecting "Edit Options." There will be a menu in there to choose your subscription options.

Also, if you choose No email notification, you can check all threads you're subscribed to in your User CP. Look for "List subscriptions" in the left menu.

Hope that helps!

Also, I know there are a bunch of menu bar items and options in the User Control Panel. I'm working on an updated FAQ with explanations of all of the features and suggestions on how to fully take advantage of the forum so stay tuned to the Announcements & Feedback forum for when I complete it.

That's keeping up with the Jones's! Bigger? Not yet. Better? Glad to see you're working on it!
