Dropped posts?

About 3 hours ago I posted twice to the "Golf Rewind's future..." thread (stagday and stlcard_25 susequently added to the thread). When I came back just now and returned the thread, those 4 posts were gone, and there were posts from earlier today that weren't visible to me at the time I posted. Seems odd.

Also, about 3 hours ago, I posted to the "American Idol Five" thread and now that post is gone, too (I had correctly predicted that Paris would leave the show tonight).

Has anyone else had similar experiences?

I posted in that thread also and my post has disappeared. I also posted in the thread regarding the death of Tiger's dad
and that post is also gone.

My posts from GR's future disappeared, too. And the page just recently refreshed itself on me, and a PM I read a few hours ago became "unread" again. In fact, it acted upon the refresh as if I hadn't been on here at all since 6 this morning (i have been)

Oh, and my total post count has dropped a few.

I also started a thread this morning with condolences to the Woods family that disappeared - (there wasn't one at the time) - then I saw one that was started before mine when I revisited the site. Not critical except that I sympathise with Tiger and his family.

Hmmm, I've made a few posts today that seem to have disapeared & quite frankly I can't be bothered to expend the time to repost them.

Wonder if it has anything to do with...

the account suspension? Yesterday around 10:00 - 11:30 AM (PST) I couldn't get into GR.com. The page would partially load with a simple message in big bold letter across the middle..."The Domain Account for GolfRewind.com has been suspended." I came back later to find the my posts immediately prior to that error message and immediately after it were completely gone.

If they had a problem with the server they may of had to reload the site with the memory they had until it was fixed. Thus causing some posts during that time to disappear and then re-appear later once the problem was fixed (or not appear at all because it wasn't saved)......

On a side note: My drink has gone missing while I was typing this post.

When I read this post this morning as I was eating my breakfast, I laughed so hard I nearly spit my Rice Krispies all over the computer screen. Great one, Keith.

........maybe someone is hacking your GR website , playing games with the website. Maybe someone on this website , who knows about computers , can help figure it out. ( and it ain't me, cause I'm not smart enough to hack, I have enough problems learning golf ) Slicer

Still haven't found my sandwich

As to missing posts, I wouldn't worry too much about them, numbers aren't what we are about here. I was a member of an EZ board MG and they got hacked last year and we lost everything. Not just or group, most of EZ board. Things will work themselves out, and besides my missing delicious, mouth watering, enticing cheese sandwich, everything has been pooping back to their original post #'s.
