anyone else think its overly strict.... I could see if it was for a 5 year old but if you can't even put an aberivated form of a word in a post wihtout getting a private message from a mod, then something has to be done or maybe I should go to a more mature site. I am not saying I want to cuss like a sailor, but I am saying if I can't say ** or other forms of words then this must be a kiddy site. Or the mods are on a huge power trip.

IMO: you need to grow up. literate, educated adults don't need to use foul language to express themselves.

Actually it's a site intended for everyone ... yes, including a number of "kiddies" who're able to voice their thoughts without resorting to vulgarities. Frankly, I'm amazed that this has apparently just dawned on you being a long time member with nearly 1,000 posts. The content guidelines are posted at the beginning of each thread. If you feel we're too strict and choose to move on, we'll miss you but we won't be compromising on the standards here. BTW, challenging the guidelines is also a violation and adhering to them just isn't that hard. This one is closed.
