Sorry about all of the e-mails. What hkmiz described will unsubscribe you to all of the threads you have subscribed to. What you might also want to do is go into your "User CP," then go into "Options" and for Subscription options, select "Do not subscribe."

"No Email Notifications" is fine, too. This means that you are still subscribed to the threads but won't receive any e-mails. To check your subscribed threads, you can go to your User CP and find them there.
I'm getting heaps of golf rewind emails saying I'm subscribed to this thread!!! theres about 30 emails... how do i turn this off
