Have you ever thought about making a section where people from different parts of the world, more likely the us can get together with people in their close geographic region to play a round? May be difficult, but thought it might be neat seeing as most of the people I play with arnt as in to golf as I am, so sometimes I hafta go alone
I have put this to thought on many occassions. I was just waiting for the membership base to grow larger. I would probably combine local course reviews with local get togethers.

I've already done that with leaguegolf here in michigan. We only have 3 or 4 active Michigan members. There are over a dozen active Ohio members, though... and I think at least 4 or 5 in the Columbus area alone. Just PM them and see if they're interested in getting together. It would help if everyone would post their approxiamte location in their profile , too.
Or just a game in the South East if anyones interested.
N.I. Golf Girl, you sound like just the sort we need to bring our UK members together. We're having a competition May...those => 50 years old and others of like minds... against those < 50. We'd like to have as many members as possible play together. Check out the "Us against them" thread at the top of general golf discussion & strat organizing.
That does sound good. The only person close to my that I know of is jc, but he's always working and can never play! I'd love to meet some more folks around my area to tee it up with. Especially since I'm new to the area.

JC says he's in ... as an OG, too. Hopefully you guys can get together for the competition. I can't think of any other SC members besides the 2 of you. We had one, I think... a guy in the military...can't remember who. or maybe you should just move to Ohio, I think about half our members live there.
There is a member from northwester SC but I forget who he is...sorry.
Do I get to play Bama for my OG vs. YG match???? If not, we'll play together and that will ensure honest scorekeeping (from him that is).
Well technically it's not a match, seeing as we're going by team average strokes over course rating, but it'd be great if you guys could play your round together.... so you could help Bama with ... ahem.. the math and other rules issues that might arise, JC.
