A huge four metal would improve many people's driving game.

Re: 20 degree driver??

It would be totally worthless to me personally, but there may be a market out there for it. I've seen quite a few people with 16 degree Nike drivers. Personally, I would think 16 degrees ought to be enough loft on a driver fro pretty much anyone.

Interesting responses...keep em coming!

p.s more mass being 20 degrees means more distance for a slower clubhead speed.

Re: 20 degree driver??

20 degree in place of teeing up a 5 wood or 3 wood on par 4's, narrow par 5s

Exactly. For most of the beginners I setup with new clubs I'll leave out the driver and get them the largest 15° 3W head I can. I tell them to hit that off the tee and also set them up with about a 20° and 24° hybrid for replacing fairway woods and longer irons (3-4).

I think a large headed driver around 18-20° is a very interesting idea!

Re: 20 degree driver??

I don't know anyone who would use over a 12 degree. I hit an 8.5 and still hit it high.

Shelby,

hello...I actually fit a lot of golfers into 12 to 16 degrees...I wish there were no lofts stamped on the driver. It becomes psychologicalfor most people...Oh I don't want a 14 degree...The Ego gets in the way if you know what I mean...

Do you hit the ball on the upswing with a high clubhead speed? You may need to try one of our Bangster or Bangomatic heads in 5, 6 or 7.5 degrees>>>Bang-O-Matic Beta Titanium Driver 460cc Black - Bang Golf, Inc.

and

Bangster 100% Beta Titanium Driver 430cc TICN Black - Bang Golf, Inc.

Personally, I hit the Banster Ol 9 Degree, but on the upswing so at impact I am actually at 11 degrees with a Launch angle around 13...

We need to replace that Ping G5 driver head with a BOM>>>Bang-O-Matic Beta Titanium Driver 460cc Black - Bang Golf, Inc.

p.s. My shaft / head combo is the Bangster OL and Enzo zone 60 shaft S-Flex. Great combo for my swing! Flattened out my ball flight...softer in the butt of the shaft!
