WTB: Callaway Big Bertha Warbird or Original Great Big Bertha Drivers
I'm looking for clubheads in decent shape. Finish is relatively unimportant, but I don't want something that looks like it was drug behind a car for a long road trip.
I'd be interested in anything that fits into the following groups:
Callaway Big Bertha War Bird (old style) - 9 degree through 11 degree
Callaway Great Big Bertha (original ti) - 10 or 11 degree
Callaway Steelhead, Steelhead Plus, or Steelhead III - 10 or 11 degree
Callaway Biggest Big Bertha - 11 degree (or 10.5, whatever it came in)
I don't care if the shaft is broken. I just want the head to make a super-3-wood.

I am a maniac. I buy things on impulses. I got the idea to make a hot 3-wood because I was lamenting the sale of my 11 degree GBB that I had. Tomorrow, I'll want to buy something else. I've been itching to get back into bench rest shooting. Trying to resist based on cost.

Have a 10* Warbird original stiff shaft - even has original grip. Not very used. In North Carolina

Between golf, shotguns and bird dogs, I don't know where to fit in work and sleep!
I shot trap when I was in my teens and some sporting clays, too. I spent many evenings after high school in the basement in front of the MEC with Red Dot, AA's, #7 1/2 shot and windjammers. That's just one of the dozens of hobbies I miss.

MEC 600 Jr., red and silver AA's, Hogdon's International Clays powder, Winchester wads and 209 primers. I can still smell the powder and feel the occasional finger pinch. I could usually turn out 4-5 boxes in an hour.
Now I never seem to have the time. Between training the new spaniel, trying to get my game back to single digits, and saving for a South Dakota pheasant hunt this fall, a coupla hours of pleasurable, mindless reloading seems like a luxury.

So I went out to the used shops that line one street just outside of my course (and right around the corner)…hadn’t been there for a few months…they are chock full of warbird drivers, 3, 4, 5 and 7 woods! There was also a set of mp 30s that caught my eye as well as a set of tourstage cbs and some good condition 690cbs as well…I purposely went with no money in my pocket to avoid impulse buys, but will be going back for one of the fairways just for giggles…
