face-milling & re-grooving
anyone know where i can get some old but great wedges face-milled ...... and re-grooved to a tight tolerance too???

the iron factory will do it...they do great work restoring wedges.

i read in another thread somewhere that the iron factory didn't have CNC capability. ... i emailed the iron factory, but never got a reply from them.

There isnt any need for CNC work. They will get it in and strip it clean. Take the grooves up to USGA tolerences and then re-finish the way you like it. What would you need CNC work for? Unless you wanted to add a groove or to make the club illegal by adding scoring lines between grooves..but you wont find any shop that would do that.

quite simply, ... i want the face cnc milled, not planed. there is a huge difference!
