Cool Cameron red-x shaft removal

what's the best way to remove a cameron (heel shafted) red-x shaft?

Gently heat the head with a heat gun (dont use a gas torch for drivers or putters) grasp the head firmly in a thick damp cloth and work the shaft out slowly. Dont overheat and dont pull the shaft too hard. I have lost a couple of putters that way.

I agree with Mizunoman. Only thing I would add with regards to not overheating is keep moving the heat gun around. Don't let it stay in any one area too long. Heat guns put out alot of heat even though there is no flame. Also, just in case you ever decide to remove a graphite shaft, use the same technique but under no circumstances should you twist the shaft. Have a good one.
