i looked into the true temper shafts and the aldilas on ebay abd the true tempers are a lot cheaper...is there something wrong with them or will they deliver the same performence as the aldilas

Go somewhere with a launch monitor otherwise its just a guess. The shafts the engine room of the club. Always make help to a strong engine.

Grafalloy Blue and pro Launch are good sticks. Be on the look out for Grafalloy Prolite's they are going very cheap these days and they are still quality shafts. If you want good value and a great shaft try Harrisons Striper range, they get a very good name.

A good rule of thumb is to always play the lightest most flexible shaft you can control.

giantdogs92, we need to know more then just your swingspeed. There are many factors involved in shaft selection. I would advise you to go get fitted if it is possible, if not then we need to know the characteristics of the current shaft in your driver. For example, the flex, kickpoint, tip stiffness and torque rating. Then we would need to know the ball flight that you are currently getting with this shaft, like is it a low or high trajectory, do you fade/slice or draw/hook with your current shaft. As you can see this process is rather complicated and in the end we would just be guessing because we know nothing of your swing. I hope this helps.
