Question How will I know what shafts I like, If I can't try them ?

I am thinking of customizing some clubs for myself. Either purchasing them from a custom maker or ordering them online. I am thinking of going with a graphite shaft.

Problem is ... how can I test out all these shafts ?

That can be hard to do unless they are a popular shaft. The best way it a demo day because club reps will have a the same club in a lot of different shafts. Some good golf stores do the same.
