Scotty Cameron Studio Design Putter fix

Anyone know how to take the finish oil shine off the putter? I heard there was a special cream or something that takes it off. Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks

Cool

Call a local machine shop and see how much they would charge to bead-blast the part you want the shine removed from. You might want to tape over the rest of the club with masking tape before you take it in to save some money and have it done the way you want it. Make sure they understand you want BEAD-BLASTING, not Sand-Blasting, Totally different look and not what you'd want on a putter. Make sure you tell them what the material is so they know what it is that needs to be done. If it's hard chrome plated, you might have a problem, but any other material shouldn't be a problem for any good machine shop. If you lived near by, I'd invite you to bring it over and I'd do it for you for a few dollars and a cup of coffee & a donut. Have a nice weekend
