Check out www.theironfactory.com or www.golfworks.com. Each can restore the club. I know the iron factory is closed until they complete their move to Colorado.

From the forum posts I've seen on topic, those two are very, very good.

Is there any way i can do it at home for cheaper. I am only a kid and money is quite tight for me but i like the club so i want to restore it and keep it for maybe playing but most likely a collectors item and i think it is worth more restored.

Not unless you can strip chrome, rechrome, paintfill reshaft and regrip. The Iron Factory can do this for $37.

I'm going to send them a couple of 2-irons of mine to restore.

Does it have a hickory shaft or a steel shaft?

rusty old clubs

1. You can use 000 steel wool to remove the loose stuff.
2. Follow by Naval jelly...wear hand/eye protection
3. Further follow by a fine wire wheel...better and more controlable on a bench grinder than a hand drill.
4. Clean well...air/cloth...not water
5. Use a rust inhibitor (Lowes, Home Depot, local hardware) and you should be good to go.
All the above applies if you are using the club as a playing club, not an antique.
