Need advice on graphite iron shafts

I have discovered that I hit a stiff shaft much more consistantly than a regular flex shaft...therefore I am wanting to change the shafts in my Slingshot irons to a stiff flex. I have a complete set from 2 iron all the way to SW (11 total) so it would probably be cheaper to change the shafts than try to buy a whole new set. I have all the equipment I need to change the shafts myself.

I see many types and prices for Graphite Iron shafts. I would imagine for the most part it is you get what you pay for but I wanted to ask if anyone here had a good or bad experience with a particular brand of shaft.

Thanks in advance for your time.

Loren

Are you playing stiff steel currently? I've experience with Harrison Tour Star shafts which aren't necessarily cheap though ($20/shaft or so), very consistent and worth the price, they have a mid/high kick which will keep the ball down and are about 90g.

Depends also on what you're looking to do with the irons, hit the ball higher/lower...what are you looking to get out of the S-flex graphite iron shafts?

I am looking for more consistancy and power in my shots. If I try to hit the ball hard with these shafts it can go just about anywhere. I forgot to turn in a Slingshot 6 iron with a stiff shaft I found on a course and I can give it all the power I have and it goes straight.

I'd agree with rehcuob about the SK Fiber, nice shafts for the buck...another more expensive choice is Grafalloy ProLogic, quality shaft there. I do like the Harrison Tour Star's if your budget can afford it.

graphite Iron shafts

Take a good look at the Harmon Tour Design Iron Shafts, In Taper Tip they are a constant weight and heavy enough to make a good sw in a standard lenght Iron.
