reshafting my titleist 975f

i've decided to reshaft my 975f and i was wondering what the tip size of the shaft should be. is it a .350 or a .335.

Are you gonna reshaft it yourself Ska? Or get it professionally done?

Is a stock shaft in it now? How's a 27.3 Tour Platform S-flex sound to you?

haha i don't have the slightest idea how to reshaft clubs so i'll get it done somewhere. yes, my 975f has a stock shaft in it right now and it's a regular flex. a 27.3 Fuji TP sounds great as i already have it's brother in my driver. hard to pay that much for just a shaft though

Look around. You can get it for much cheaper.. maybe not brand new, but a driver pull should fit the 975 nicely...

Slightly off topic...I thought the general recommendation was to not use pulled shafts. I understand some are more reliable than others, but I thought it was a no-no. Correct me, someone please! So I can buy a set of pulled shafts for my irons and get the work done for cheaper

Haha. you might be right. Im no clubmaker myself and learn all the things I know about equipment online. I know that a lot of people do use pulls, but make sure that the shaft is clean and the pull was clean by looking at the tip. I think if i were going to reshaft a FW, i'd try to get a driver pull. They are so much cheaper than new ones. There probably is some truth to what youre saying though... I'd just try to get it and make sure it was a clean pull and not used for more than a season..

i've had my 975f reshafted with the UST irod, and it's amazing. turns it into a totally different club, and the irod at $37 is cheaper than many of the other premium shafts.
