Hi everybody,
greetings from Italy. First time poster and newbie/amateur clubmaker here. I recently found out this great forum and I'll appreciate any help you can give me. I need to reshaft the 7 iron of my set of Ping Zing's, factory fitted with KT-M shafts, regular lenght. What shaft is the best choice for appearance (step pattern) and technical characteristics? I was thinking about TrueTemper Dynalite Gold S300.... Naturally, if any of you has a spare KT-M shaft of suitable length to sell to me, you'll put a smile back on my face!

Pipps, Ping had to change out a bunch of KT-M shafts on the Zing sets. The shafts tended to bend due to the toe weight design on this particular iron. The replacement shaft was the JZ and Zing 2's came stock with the JZ shafts. The KT-M shaft worked well in the eye 2 iron heads. The shaft most clubmakers used back then as a replacement for Ping shafts was the TT Lite but I'm not sure the wall strength near the hosel would be a good fit. I would look for a JZ shaft as a replacement. I have a KT-M I could give you but shipping would probably be very expensive. Ping irons require the 355 taper tip shafts. I'll call my local guru and let you know what he thinks.
