Loco Head help!!

A friend brought in a Loco Driver that he had snapped the head off of. It snapped of at the hosel and I attempted to drill out the graphite shaft that was still left in it. I got about 1/2 " in the head before I met a lot of resistance and it looks like a weight tip is stuck in the head. I don't want to wreck the head without finding out what is stuck in it. Any thoughts???

Drill it out...if there's a weight difference, throw a little lead tape on the head. The driver is inexpensive enough where if you do screw it up, its not going to be the end of the world if your buddy/you has to buy a new one.
