R510 TP not fit in Fuji Vista Pro

I am trying to put a Fuji Vista Pro 70 (new model) with .335 tip on a Taylor Made R510 TP, which is also a .335. However, the shaft feels kind of loose within the head tip. Feels like there is about 1/16 inch movement. I have also tried to add the after market ferrule made for the TM 5 series, but that seems to be too big. What am I doing wrong? Do I need to add some kind of build up tape to make the shaft fit snug in the hosel?

I have done this before with a R510 (not TP) with .350 tip and it fitted perfect on the Fuji Vista Pro 70 black (older model).

Any suggestion is greatly appreciated. If I can’t get this to work, I guess I’ll have to take it to the professional.

If it is a .335 tip and the shaft (being .335) fits in the hosel alittle on the loose side there is a solution.

You can get a pack of Shim Beeds that go into the epoxy. They are like small grains of sand that you can mix into the epoxy during assembly to help fill the loose gap between the Hosel and the shaft. They work very well and I have never had any trouble out of them in the past.

That's what I would use too. If you can't readily get them, what I use in a pinch is the grit that comes off of my saw when I cut shafts. It does the same thing and makes the epoxy black which is a cool plus.

.355 is a tapered tip iron or hybrid shaft. .350 is a wood diameter. I have an R510TP head and a stock one with a speeder 757. Just measured both and they are .335 (a tad over). Just to check I tried to get a tip prepper .350 shaft in the head and it would not go.
