Soft stepping sensicore

Is it possible to soft step a DG sensicore 1-2 times or will it throw off the vibration dampener and/or swingweight

Cool

What do you mean by "soft step" ? As for the Sensicore insert, it's about 11 inches in from the butt end of the shaft. Does that help answer your question?

by soft stepping - putting 2 iron shaft in 3 iron and so forth
soft stepping twice 2 iron in 4 iron

designed to make shaft play softer

That's about what I figured you were talking about. I can see some merit to that idea. Would make a 3 iron play a little higher ball flight I would think, depending on the kick point of the shaft of course, and that's not all bad for most golfers. So that would mean you'd tip trim a 3 iron 1/2 inch less than normal and butt trim it an extra 1/2 inch. That shouldn't effect the Sensicore insert much, if any.

you want to trim only from butt to increase the flex. trimming tip will make club stiffer. I just did it and like the results. I soft stepped twice in 4 & 5irons and once in 6 - gap. The clubs play a tad softer and in the long irons have increased my trajectory.
