I have a set of these clubs that I recently pulled out my bag and bought a new set of G5 copies because of how they felt. I ordered them with 5.5 rifles based upon what the guy stated as per my swing speed (96) I received them this past week and I'm still having the same effect as I was with the Zing's. My ball fligh goes too high for my taste I guess. I was hoping for more of a boring trajectory. The purpose of this question is, I was acting hastiledly by yanking them out of my bag and buying a new set? The shafts on the Ping's are TT Sensicore stiff and I still had that high lanch angle. Is there anyway other than replacing the shafts to get that boring trajectory?
I used to have "game improvement" clubs. They hit the ball high all the time cuz I couldn't keep the club going in a downward motion due to its fat sole. I bought semi-blades and now the ball flies in a much more boring trajectory and I am able to shape the ball where as the game improvement clubs hit it straight everytime.

Do you still have those clubs that "hit it straight everytime" and how much do you want for them?
Bone63: You state you have TT shafts in those heads. But what TT shaft are you talking about. Some TT shafts have a high kick point and others are lower, some are quite low in fact. What TT shaft do you have? As for the heads, YES, a cavity back head with a low center of gravity, will hit the ball higher than a blade with a higher CG. That's one of the reasons a lot of golfers go the the cavity back design, to hit the ball higher. That said, the shaft flex and kick point will have an effect also. Usually, the softer the flex and the lower the kick point, the higher the ball flight will be. I hope that answers your question a little better.
Thanks for the inputt one putt.... Now, as far as what shafts, they are dynamic gold R300U w/ sensicore sticker on them. I've pulled out the G5's and put the Zings back in. I guess you can say I learn to hit the ball once again and now the zings are back to my liking. I guess I feel bad on thinking I was under the wrong impression as to what the shaft flex issue as far as what I was wanting the ball's flight pattern. Now, I have this spare new set lying around that I need to do something with...
