opening the face of a wood

I have a 28* 9W that I really like, but the face is very closed in my normal grip and stance. I have a tendency to pull/hook this club all the time. I can compensate by weakening my grip, but I would rather be able to use use my normal strong grip. Is it possible to open the face of this club? It seems like it would be fairly easy, but maybe I am missing something obvious.Thanks....

Ive had a similar issues and questions and have been told that it would not be wise to try this on either woods or rescue clubs. The alternative would be to purchase a club with a neutral face angle...

The thread is titled "bending rescue clubs" and it under this folder.

Thanks etg. Looks like I'll be weakening my grip; I really like this club and want to keep it. BTW, must be awful nice to be able to play right now-we have 6" of snow on the ground!
