Hello all. I currently have a taylor made 580xd with the purple ice s shaft and i used to hit it great but now i cant hit it to save my life. I was looking at callway fusions, taylor made r7 425 and the new 460 and the cobra speeder series. im 6-6 330 and my swing is amoderate speed but its the swing arc thats so large that i need a stiffer shaft. Can anyone recommend a shaft that is comperable to the purple ice?? maybe the fujikura? i see on the tm website they have rifle steel shafts for there drivers.. doesn anyone know the advantage/disadvantage of steel shfts for drivers?
