Question Loft / lie measuring tool?

I was hoping some of you could recommend a reliable loft / lie measuring tool that I could use to periodically check the specs on my irons and wedges. I recently ordered a new set of Mizuno MX-23's and I've read that the softer iron/wedge materials are more susceptible to changes over time. I don't need to be able to bend them, if I detect an aberration I'll use a local professional club builder.
Thanks for any suggestions

To really get a good read on this the tool is very expensive. Golfsmith has one for about $200. I think. There are cheaper tools but they are not as reliable or accurate. We are talking 1-2 degrees that make a difference and I personally think you do have to be very accurate with it. A protractor can give you basics, and Golfsmith has a magnetic one that is not too much but like I said you want to be accurate. So if you don't really want to spend the $$ on a good one it maybe just as well to pay a clubbuilder once maybe twice a year to check them. You really don't have to do this every month like the pros. These guys play everyday and hit the ball very hard with taking deep divots. I am Scratch and have a loft and lie bending machine and use it only twice a year on my own clubs.

Thanks Golfdawg, you're right in suspecting that I had hoped to find a reliable tool for somewhat less $. The main reason I thought to get one for myself is that I re-grip my own clubs instead of taking them to a pro once or twice a year. It probably makes sense for me to buy a good one because I plan on taking some beginning club builder classes this year with the long term goal of eventually being able to assemble sticks for myself and family (I find myself frequently intrigued with the vast array of quality componants available).

If you are just doing irons and are not interested in face angle, this economy one will work from GS. If you want to include F.A., the economy one from golfworks for $149 can accommodate that. That advantages of the high end gauges are ease and speed of use.
