Changing grips on graphite

what's the best and quickest way to get that tape off of the graphite shafts? Yes, I'm to lazy to check other posts if there is an answer to this.

that air compressor technique looks just like the "cats meow". may have to try it.

I dont think there really is any easy way to remove the tape other than to just keep peeling it away. If it were a metal shaft, you could scrape the tape off. You could try soaking the tape in solvent, it might loosen the adhesive on the tape.
As far as the compressor method, thats only for installing or removing grips, not tape.

warm the tape up with a heat gun (but not too hot) and the tape will peel right off. the older tape thats been on a year or two may need a little more heat.

Depends on how old the tape is. I just regripped my 3 wood with a graphite shaft and the grip was about 9 months old and didn't need to use anything, just peeled it right off, on the other hand when I regripped my irons that are about 1.5 years old, I had to use a heat gun to get all the tape off.
